Our continued efforts are paying off. Legislation to authorize dental therapists and dental hygienist therapists was introduced last year and will be reintroduced soon.

Across the country, momentum is building around solutions to the oral health care crisis. Let’s bring that energy to Ohio!
• Dental therapists are being employed effectively in Alaska and Minnesota, and soon they will be practicing in Maine and Vermont.
• Native American communities are employing dental therapists who provide quality care to tribal members.
Dental Access Now’s Day at the Statehouse is perfectly timed to inform lawmakers about a proven solution to the dental provider shortage.

We need action NOW that will modernize Ohio’s dental workforce and improve access to dental care for all Ohioans.
We need your voice to make Dental Therapists a reality in 2017.
